Jacqueline del Cristo is of Counsel at DF Lawyers. She has over 30 years of experience representing domestic and international business clients in a broad range of corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters. In her practice, she counsels clients from the initial structuring and formation of the business entity to more complex business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, outbound and inbound investments, international trade, and other cross-border transactions.  

Ms. del Cristo also has extensive experience working with corporations doing business in Latin America. Her clients have included financial institutions, credit card and payment systems companies, defense contractors, domestic and foreign investors, import/export businesses, transportation and logistics companies, manufacturers, health care providers, construction materials suppliers, hospitality groups, and entertainment industry entities. In addition, Ms. del Cristo has served as both in-house counsel and outside corporate counsel for the Latin American divisions of multinational corporations in the financial services and payment systems sector.  She also routinely assists clients in state and federal regulatory matters, including defense industry regulatory and licensing issues (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), compliance with anti-money laundering laws, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, as well as international privacy laws and regulations.  

Ms. del Cristo is a member of the Florida Bar and the North Carolina Bar, and has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Ms. del Cristo received her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where she also completed the coursework for her Master of Laws in Inter-American Law. In law school, Ms. del Cristo was a member of the University of Miami Business Law Review and also served as Articles and Comments Editor of the University of Miami Entertainment and Sports Law Review. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and French from the University of Miami. She is fluent in written and spoken Spanish. 

Ms. del Cristo is serving her second term on the advisory board of the Miami-Dade County International Trade Consortium and is also the Chairperson of its Sister Cities and Consular Corps Committee.​
